- US & Canada Payroll Operations Leadership & Compliance
- US & Canada payroll operations experience.
- Strong knowledge of US federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Experience in Staffing Industry, Interim Workforce Management, MSP, RPO, or Workforce Solutions environments.
- Extensive payroll processing experience using ADP or equivalent payroll systems.
- Strong understanding of payroll controls, compliance governance, and audit requirements.
- Experience managing payroll escalations and complex payroll issues.
- Experience with VMS tools (Fieldglass, Beeline, IQN) and Bullhorn Time & Expense.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced analytical, reporting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Advanced Excel and payroll reporting expertise.

- CPP or FPC Payroll Certification.
- Experience leading payroll teams.
- Process improvement and automation experience.
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft, Oracle, Workday, or JDE systems.
- Multi-state payroll experience.

Qualification / Certifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related discipline.
- CPP or FPC Certification preferred.

Job Description/ Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end payroll operations and payroll service delivery.
- Ensure employees and contingent workers are paid accurately and on time.
- Manage payroll readiness reviews and payroll execution controls.
- Oversee payroll providers, banking interfaces, and payroll processing activities.
- Review payroll calculations, deductions, taxes, garnishments, and adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with US payroll laws and regulations.
- Manage payroll discrepancies, exceptions, and payment failure resolution.
- Monitor payroll KPIs, SLAs, productivity, and service-delivery metrics.
- Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and standardization efforts.
- Act as escalation point for complex payroll issues.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Operations, Compliance, and client stakeholders.
- Support payroll audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and support payroll team members.
- Ensure quality, compliance, timeliness, and customer satisfaction across payroll operations.
