- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, clinical condition, and response to treatment.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, injections, and other prescribed treatments accurately.
- Operate and monitor ICU equipment such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and suction machines.
- Assist doctors during emergency procedures, intubation, central line insertion, and other critical interventions.
- Maintain accurate patient records, nursing notes, medication charts, and clinical documentation.
- Identify changes in patients' conditions and immediately report concerns to the concerned doctor/senior.
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain proper hygiene and patient safety standards.
- Provide basic emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Participate in emergency situations, including Code Blue and CPR.
- Ensure proper handover of patients during shift changes.
- Maintain ICU equipment, supplies, and medication inventory.
Preferred candidate profile
- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing
- Valid State Nursing Council Registration
- ICU/Critical Care experience
- Knowledge of ventilator management and cardiac monitoring
- Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills
- Valuable communication and teamwork abilities
