- Design and analyse PEB and structural steel buildings including primary and secondary members.
- Perform load calculations for dead, live, wind, seismic, crane and collateral loads.
- Prepare structural design calculations as per IS 800, IS 875, IS 1893 and IS 2062 .
- Design/check columns, rafters, beams, purlins, girts, bracings, base plates and steel connections .
- Optimise structural sections for strength, stability, serviceability and steel tonnage .
- Coordinate with detailing, fabrication, project and site teams for design-related requirements.
- Review structural drawings and resolve technical queries.
Technical Skills
- Solid knowledge of PEB and structural steel design .
- Hands-on experience in STAAD.Pro is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Tekla Structures, MBS and AutoCAD/GstarCAD preferred.
- Good understanding of structural analysis, steel connections and relevant IS codes.
Qualification
B.E./B.Tech in Civil/Structural Engineering with relevant PEB/Structural Steel design experience.
