Electrical Supervisor Roles & Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Ensure electrical work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Allocate work to electricians and technicians and monitor their performance.
- Inspect electrical installations, wiring, panels, cables, motors, and other equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and coordinate corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety procedures, and company standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
- Monitor material requirements and ensure proper use of electrical tools and equipment.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and other departments to avoid work conflicts.
- Prepare daily work reports, maintenance records, inspection reports, and material requirements.
- Ensure proper testing and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
- Enforce electrical safety practices, including PPE, isolation/LOTO, and safe working procedures.
- Guide and train electricians and junior electrical staff.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors when required.
- Report electrical issues, project progress,

- Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Relevant experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and supervision.
- Positive knowledge of electrical systems, panels, cables, motors, transformers, and control systems.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety procedures, PPE, LOTO, and applicable standards.
- Experience in supervising electricians, technicians, and contractors.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to plan daily work activities and coordinate with other departments.
- Good communication, leadership, and team-management skills.
- Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ability to prepare work reports, inspection records, and maintenance documentation.
- Willingness to work in shifts and handle site/project requirements when needed.
- Responsible, disciplined, safety-conscious, and capable of working under pressure.
