Senior Salesforce DevOps Engineer 5 to 8 years experience. This role is for someone who has moved past writing Apex and now owns how code actually reaches production. You'll design the release strategy, not just execute it. Day to day, you'll build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Copado and Gearset — configuring automated deployments, managing branch strategies, resolving merge conflicts, and promoting changes across sandboxes to production. You'll work closely with developers to review their code before it hits the pipeline, catch issues early, and keep releases predictable. You'll also mentor junior DevOps engineers, troubleshoot failed deployments under pressure, and continuously improve the pipeline — cutting down release cycle time and reducing manual steps. Expect to collaborate with QA and release managers on release planning, and to own the workplace strategy end to end. Must-haves: hands-on Copado and Gearset, strong Apex and Salesforce DX, solid Git workflow, and real experience with Salesforce metadata, profiles, and permission sets. Nice to have: Jenkins or GitHub Actions, Salesforce security and compliance knowledge, and prior release management experience.
