We are looking for a skilled Automation Testing Engineer with hands-on experience in Playwright and API Testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks for web applications and APIs, ensuring high-quality software delivery through continuous testing and automation.

Key Responsibilities

Exp - 6 to 9 yrs

Location - Hyderabad

- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Design and execute automated test scripts for web and API testing.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
- Create and maintain API automation suites using Postman, REST Assured, or Playwright API testing capabilities.
- Validate RESTful APIs, request/response payloads, authentication, and database interactions.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and report defects effectively.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and test scenarios.
- Ensure adherence to test automation best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to quality improvements.

Required Skills





- 4+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript or Java).
- Expertise in API Testing using Postman, REST Assured, Swagger, or similar tools.
- Experience in automation framework design and development.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, and API authentication mechanisms.
- Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience with TestNG, JUnit, or Jest frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Git and version control systems.
- Familiarity with SQL and database validation.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
- Performance testing knowledge is an added advantage.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Robust problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
