JOB PURPOSE
The AGM – CIG (Power & Urban Infrastructure) plays a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial consolidation, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial reporting for the Power, Energy & Urban Infrastructure sectors. This role is responsible for budgets & AOP consolidation, variance analysis, audit coordination, and investor reporting, supporting senior management in informed decision-making. By leveraging SAP HANA, BPC, and Power BI, they drive automation and process efficiency in financial consolidation and reporting. This role is crucial in driving financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic insights by ensuring seamless consolidation, audit readiness, and regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Financial Consolidation & Reporting
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation of financials for the Power & Urban Infrastructure sectors, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Review financial statements from subsidiaries and JVs, ensuring compliance with IFRS, IND-AS, and Companies Act.
- Prepare and monitor the financial closing schedule, escalating any delays.
- Derive financial insights from the financial analysis, highlighting key movements and trends for senior management.
- Review & monitor timely submission of SEBI listing requirements (standalone & consolidated) and financial MIS to investors, management, and auditors.

Budgeting, AOP & Variance Analysis
- Responsible for the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) consolidation for all entities under Energy & Urban Infrastructure.
- Validate and reconcile budget forecasts, estimates, and P&L; projections prepared by respective business teams.
- Conduct monthly budget vs. actuals analysis, identifying variances & ensuring corrective actions.
- Responsible for the accurate upload of AOP financials into BCP and Power BI for automated reporting.

Audit & Compliance Management
- Support statutory and direct tax audits, ensuring smooth coordination with auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor compliance with SEBI, Companies Act, and other financial regulations, minimizing reporting risks.
- Liaise with subsidiary finance teams to ensure proper documentation and resolution of audit queries.
- Monitor and oversee related party transactions (RPT) data, ensuring accurate integration into the consolidation model.

Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key liaison between Power & Urban Infrastructure business teams, central finance, investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Handle investor and regulator queries, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
- Prepare financial presentations for the Audit Committee and senior management.
- Collaborate with external consultants for fair valuation and impairment assessments, ensuring financial accuracy.
- Closure rate of stakeholder concerns & queries
Process Optimization & Digital Transformation
- Guide the adoption of automation initiatives using SAP HANA, BPC, and Power BI to enhance financial consolidation and reporting efficiency.
- Monitor accurate data integration into BPC, including currency conversion, shareholding updates, and adjustment entries.
