Job Summary
We are looking for a Safety Supervisor with minimum 2 years of experience in road/highway or civil construction projects to ensure safe working practices and HSE compliance at our Thane project.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and toolbox talks.
- Ensure PPE compliance and safe working practices.
- Monitor traffic management, barricading, signage and road diversions.
- Ensure safety during excavation, roadwork, paving, lifting and heavy equipment operations.
- Conduct safety induction for workers and subcontractors.
- Identify unsafe acts/conditions and ensure corrective action.
- Maintain safety records,
reports and incident/near-miss documentation.
- Assist with HIRA/JSA, emergency procedures and accident investigations.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors and workers on safety matters.
Qualification & Skills
- Diploma/ITI/Graduate with Safety/Fire & Safety certification preferred.
- Minimum 2-5 years experience in construction/road projects.
- Good knowledge of road/work-zone safety and PPE.
- Valuable communication and team-handling skills.
- Hindi/Marathi preferred; basic English required.
Preferred: Candidates with hands-on experience in road/highway projects in Maharashtra.
