LAB PROCUREMENT MANAGER

Role Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to manage the procurement, inventory, and financial workflows of our R&D; Technology centre. This role serves as a critical bridge between the R&D;, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Finance & Accounts (F&A;), ensuring seamless operations through timely procurement, resource planning, vendor management, and SAP-based transaction tracking.Key Responsibilities:1. Lab Resource & Inventory Management

- Maintain optimal inventory of chemicals, consumables, and lab materials.
- Oversee instrument calibration, preventive maintenance, and AMC renewals.
- Track R&D; centre resource status and compliance documentation.

2. Procurement Coordination

- Collaborate with SCM to source lab equipment, consumables, and services.
- Manage vendor follow-ups and delivery schedules.

3. SAP Transactions

- Create Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) and Service Entry Sheets (SES).
- Ensure accurate and timely SAP entries for all procurement workflows.

4. Invoice & Payment Handling





- Coordinate with F&A; for payment processing and invoice tracking.
- Resolve discrepancies in billing, deliveries, or services with vendors.

5. Vendor Management

- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers.
- Ensure vendor compliance with quality and contractual standards.

6. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain organized records of GRNs, SES, invoices, and procurement files.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement status, budget usage, and vendor performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Education: Bachelors/Masters in Finance, Science, or Business Administration.
- Experience: 3–5 years in R&D; related procurement, resource coordination, or lab operations; experience with SAP required.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP and procurement lifecycle management.
- Strong communication, coordination, and organizational abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage priorities in a quick-paced environment.
