Roles and Responsibilities
1.Systems & SOP Development

• Design and document standard operating procedures for every production section modular, wood, metal, upholstery, polishing, packing covering machine setup, process sequence, tolerances, and handoff criteria to the next stage.

• Build a central SOP library so a section lead's departure or a contractor change doesn't stall production or reset quality to zero. • Review and update SOPs quarterly that reflect what's actually happening on the floor, and retire ones that don't get followed.

• Set up basic tracking formats for recurring production data machine downtime, contractor output, rework/rejection rates so decisions are made on numbers, not impressions.

2. Quality Control & Checkpoints

• Establish QC checkpoints across the full production flow at the points that matter most: post-machining/fabrication, post-polish/powder coat/foaming, and pre-dispatch with explicit pass/fail criteria at each.

• Define inspection standards dimensional checks, structural checks, surface finish, and fitment, and train them to flag issues without waiting for a section lead's sign-off.





• Hold shipment-hold authority to hold any batch or shipment that doesn't meet spec this authority sits with Quality, not with the section producing the work.

• Maintain quality standards for client-specific finishing/tolerance requirements (e.g. Mavero /hospitality projects), and audit compliance against them.

• Drive root-cause resolution root-cause every recurring rejection or client complaint and close the loop with the relevant section lead — not just re-inspect and move on.

3. Cross-Functional & Reporting

• Maintain an independent quality dashboard/scorecard to the Directors, separate from production MIS, so quality issues can't be smoothed over by throughput numbers.

• Coordinate with the Plant Head on production planning, without reporting into production — this role's authority is designed to be a check, not a subordinate function.

• Train contractors and in-house teams on SOP adherence during onboarding, tooling changes, or repeated non-conformance.
