Job Profile
We are an authorised vendor and Project Distributor of Fosroc Construction Chemicals India,
part of the Saint-Gobain Group, with over two decades of service to the construction industry in
Madhya Pradesh. We are now expanding from distribution into full-scope application and
turnkey execution with our own in-house application team.
We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer / Assistant Manager - Applications to
independently manage this vertical generating and converting new project leads, preparing
quantification and rate analysis, executing projects at site, and leading our application team.
The role carries complete ownership of project execution and business development, reporting
directly to the Director.
Key Responsibilities
Identify new business opportunities and generate leads across builders, developers,
contractors, architects, consultants, industrial units and infrastructure projects in the
assigned territory
Conduct site surveys and technical assessments and recommend the correct Fosroc
system solution
Carry out quantification and quantity take-offs from drawings and site measurements
Prepare rate analysis, cost estimates, BOQs and commercial quotations; negotiate
and close orders
Plan and execute awarded projects manpower deployment, material planning,
scheduling and site sequencing
Lead, supervise and motivate the in-house application team, supervisors and site crew;
engage and manage sub-contractors as required
Ensure application is carried out as per approved drawings, method statements and
manufacturer-recommended procedures
Operate and supervise the correct use of application equipment and tools; ensure
proper handling, maintenance and upkeep
Monitor material consumption, wastage and manpower productivity against estimates to
protect project profitability




Maintain quality control standards and conduct required testing; manage snagging,
rectification and client handover
Prepare and submit client bills as per billing schedule and follow up on collections
Conduct regular site visits, client meetings and follow-ups; travel across the territory
as required
Monitor market trends, competitor activities and pricing
Coordinate with the principal's technical team and with internal purchase, stores and

accounts functions
Maintain project documentation and submit periodic reports to the Director
Eligibility Criteria
Civil Engineer B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering
MBA will be considered a positive
Minimum 5+ years of working experience. Candidates from any industry may apply
provided the core competencies below are demonstrated; experience in construction
chemicals, waterproofing, flooring, repair and rehabilitation or building materials is
strongly preferred
Proven ability in quantification, quantity surveying and rate analysis
Practical knowledge of application equipment and tools used in construction chemical
works
Prior team management experience must have independently handled site manpower,
supervisors or sub-contractors
Working proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Good communication skills in Hindi and English
Willingness to travel is a must; valid driving licence required
Ability to work independently, take ownership and achieve targets
Positive understanding of the local market and customer network
Candidates from Indore / Madhya Pradesh region preferred
