Role Summary
The Product Owner acts as a bridge between business teams and the Agile development team They define product requirements, prioritize work, and ensure the final product meets business and user needs
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Managers to understand the product vision and business goals
- Create and manage user stories, features, and product backlog
- Prioritize development work to align with release and sprint plans
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum meetings, sprint demos, and PI planning)
- Ensure requirements are clear and understood by the development team
- Work closely with development, architecture, and QA teams to deliver quality releases
- Act as the voice of the customer to ensure product value and usability
- Track progress, report risks, and support release planning and delivery
Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner in Agile environments
- Experience in IT/software product development and managing requirements
- Good understanding of Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD concepts
- Solid communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams
- Hands-on experience with ALM tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
- Technical understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience in healthcare or clinical trials domain preferred
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, manage risks, and meet deadlines
Nice to Have
- Experience in medical devices or healthcare regulatory compliance (GMP, GCP, FDA, CE, etc)
- Knowledge of data management and validation systems
- Experience working with global teams
