Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Automation Software Tester to join our QA team on a full time basis, with immediate joining required. You will be responsible for designing and building automated test frameworks, alongside manual testing where needed, to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of our web and mobile applications throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts/frameworks for web and mobile applications.
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to define test automation strategy.
- Execute automated and manual test suites — functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, and API testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs/defects using bug-tracking tools; verify fixes through retesting.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines in coordination with the development team.
- Collaborate with developers, project coordinators, and business analysts to understand requirements and clarify issues.
- Conduct smoke and sanity testing on new builds/releases before deployment.




- Prepare test summary and automation coverage reports; communicate quality status to stakeholders.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) cycles with clients as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience in software testing, with hands-on automation testing experience for web and/or mobile applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and various testing methodologies (functional, regression, black-box).
- Experience writing test cases and logging defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Working knowledge of SQL for backend/data validation.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Basic scripting/programming knowledge (Java, Python, or JavaScript) for test automation.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have

- Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
- Experience testing government/PSU or enterprise-grade applications.
- ISTQB certification.
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum development practices.
