Job Description - (Injection Moulding)

Core Responsibilities

1. Production Management

o Plan, organize, and oversee daily production schedules.

o Ensure manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently.

o Monitor production output and adjust schedules as needed.

2. Quality Control

o Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications.

o Implement and monitor quality assurance systems.

o Handle non-conformance reports and corrective actions.

3. Workforce Management

o Supervise, train, and evaluate production staff.

o Manage shift schedules, leave, and overtime.

o Foster a positive work environment and encourage team performance.

4. Maintenance & Equipment

o Ensure that machinery and equipment are well maintained.

o Coordinate with the maintenance team to prevent breakdowns and

downtime.

o Oversee installation of new machines and equipment.

5. Health & Safety Compliance

o Enforce safety protocols and regulations.

o Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.

o Train staff on safety practices and emergency procedures.

6. Inventory & Materials Management

o Monitor raw materials and inventory levels.

o Coordinate with procurement and warehouse departments.

o Reduce material wastage and manage supply chain issues.

7. Cost Control & Budgeting

o Manage production costs and identify areas for cost reduction.

o Prepare and manage budgets for labor, materials, and operations.

o Analyze financial reports to improve profitability.

8. Reporting & Documentation

o Generate regular reports on production, quality, and safety.

o Maintain records of machine performance, maintenance, and incidents.

o Report key metrics to senior management.

Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities:

1. Continuous Improvement

o Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other efficiency

methodologies.

o Promote innovation and improvements in workflow and processes.

2. Cross-Department Collaboration





o Work with departments like R&D, Quality Assurance, HR, and

Logistics.

o Support new product development and introduction processes.

3. Regulatory Compliance

o Ensure compliance with local, national, and industry-specific

regulations.

o Maintain certifications (e.g., ISO, OSHA, etc.) where applicable.

4. Customer Satisfaction

o Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

o Handle customer complaints and work on corrective actions.

1. Operations management:

 Overseeing daily operations: Managing the entire production workflow, from

procuring raw materials to the final product dispatch.

 Production Planning & Scheduling: Creating and managing production

schedules to meet targets and deadlines effectively.

 Optimizing processes: Troubleshooting bottlenecks, optimizing resource

allocation, and implementing efficient production processes.

 Inventory control: Monitoring raw material levels, work-in-progress, and

finished goods, and ensuring effective inventory management techniques.

 Maintenance & Equipment Management: Overseeing equipment maintenance

schedules and ensuring all equipment is operated and maintained safely.

2. Quality assurance

 Establishing and enforcing quality standards: Ensuring that products meet





required standards through implementing quality control processes and

compliance with industry standards.

3. Team leadership & personnel management

 Supervising & motivating staff: Inspiring, motivating, and directing production

employees.

 Hiring & Training: Assisting with hiring and providing necessary training for

employees.

 Performance Management: Conducting performance reviews, coaching, and

developing opportunities for employees.

 Conflict Resolution: Resolving issues or conflicts within the factory.

4. Cost control & resource management

 Budget Management: Developing and overseeing budgets and monitoring

operational costs.

 Cost Reduction Strategies: Implementing strategies to reduce expenses.

 Resource Allocation: Allocating resources like equipment and personnel

effectively.

5. Safety & compliance

 Enforcing safety regulations: Adhering to and enforcing strict safety

regulations.

 Conducting safety audits: Conducting regular safety audits and providing

training.

 Compliance with labor & environmental laws: Staying informed of legal

changes and implementing policies to ensure compliance.

6. Communication & reporting

 Internal & external communication: Maintaining communication with

employees, suppliers, and other managers.

 Reporting to senior management: Preparing production reports for senior

management.

 Stakeholder collaboration: Coordinating with suppliers, clients, and internal

teams.

7. Continuous improvement

 Developing & implementing improvement strategies: Identifying opportunities

to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

 Staying abreast of industry trends: Continuously learning and developing to

keep up with advancements and best practices.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹85,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
