Job Description – Government Sales & Marketing Executive
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Sales & Marketing Executive to handle sales activities with Government Departments, PSUs, and other public-sector organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with Government Departments and PSUs.
- Handle Government tenders, GeM bids, quotations, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with government officials and departments for product enquiries, quotations, and order follow-up.
- Monitor tender opportunities and ensure timely submission of bids and required documents.
- Maintain regular follow-up for purchase orders, payments, and project requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Government clients.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and prepare regular sales reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams for order execution and delivery.
- Travel to Government offices and project sites as required.
Requirements:
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Basic knowledge of Government procurement, tenders, and GeM.
- Experience in Government Sales/Marketing will be preferred.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development.
- Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office and email.
