n• Tenable Nessus / Tenable.io – supervised vulnerability scanning, scan execution & output collection
n• Nmap / Masscan – basic network scanning, port enumeration & service detection
n• Hashcat / John the Ripper / Hydra – weak-password checks, result normalization & credential validation
n• Python / Bash – basic scripting for scan automation, output parsing & evidence collection
n• MITRE ATT&CK; Framework – foundational TTP understanding, finding categorization & kill-chain mapping
n• PTES / OSSTMM / NIST SP 800-115 – structured penetration testing methodology fundamentals
