Key Accountabilities:

- Helping identify and assess the archival value of materials related to special collection projectsn
- Assist in creating collection guides and shelve guide for finding the library resourcesn
- Assisting in technical processing including accessioning and other registers as well as supporting the cataloguing, classification, labeling, due date slip spine, barcoding, stamping and shelving of all the library’s resources as well as creating the database recordsn
- Assisting the tasks of creation, organization of subscribed digital contentn
- Assist the team members to evaluate, select and apply metadata schema and techniques, standards, data elements to provide description and access to Jio Library’s collectionsn
- Assisting the acquisition librarian to manage and provide assistance in ordering, managing and cataloguing the acquired materialsn
- Assist in managing the circulation counter services, performing shift duties as well as assist in supporting user services.n




- Managing enquiries over the counter and via email or telephone.n
- Support at the information counter and perform other duties as designated by librarians in the assigned work arean

nQualifications:

- n
- Master's degree in library and information science (MLIS)n

- n
- Strong interpersonal skills such as diplomacy, negotiation skills for effectively communicating with diverse groupsn
- Demonstrated robust oral, written, and web presentation communications and interpersonal skillsn
- Knowledge of the pedagogic use of a wide range of e-learning technologiesn
- Knowledge of technical processing i.e., cataloguing and classification etc.,n
- Demonstrated experience to operate email and calendar applications to create, respond to, and organize department activitiesn
- Fluency in spoken and written Hindi, English requiredn
- Flexibility to meet the changing needs of the servicen
