We are seeking a Highway Engineering Data Analyst to develop, analyze, and validate large-scale infrastructure research datasets. This role blends civil engineering knowledge with data analytics and database support, contributing directly to FHWA's pavement and bridge research initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Develop and manage engineering research datasets (LTPP, LTBP, materials testing data).
- Support QC/QA processes for infrastructure performance data.




- Apply computational statistics and data analysis techniques to engineering datasets.
- Collaborate with engineers and database professionals to improve data usability.
- Support data integration into FHWA InfoHighway portals.
- Contribute to reports, TecBrifs, and other technical documents and engineering and data deliverables.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (master's preferred).
- 10+ years of relevant experience with engineering and data analytics.
- Experience with relational databases, data analysis, or computational methods.
- Ability to bridge engineering judgment with data-driven analysis.
