Role Description The Zoho Developer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata.

The Zoho

Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining customized solutions within the Zoho ecosystem (such as Zoho CRM, Zoho Creator, Zoho Books, and related applications). Day-to-day tasks include gathering business requirements, configuring modules, creating workflows and automation, developing custom functions and integrations using Zoho Deluge scripts and APIs, and optimizing existing implementations for performance and usability. The role also involves troubleshooting issues, performing system testing, preparing technical documentation,



and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure Zoho solutions support business processes effectively.

Developer will work closely with stakeholders to propose enhancements and maintain best practices in deployment and data security.

Qualifications

- Strong experience with Zoho applications (e.g., Zoho CRM, Zoho Creator, Zoho Books) and Zoho Deluge scripting, APIs, and integrations; ability to configure modules, workflows, automation, and custom functions.
- Proficiency in general web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs for integrating Zoho with third-party platforms and internal systems.
- Solid understanding of database concepts, data modeling, and data migration, with attention to data integrity, performance, and security.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a structured, on-site environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications in Zoho or cloud-based business applications are an advantage.
- Experience working in a software development or IT services environment; familiarity with version control, testing practices, and deployment procedures is beneficial.
