Overview Oroprise is building out its Smart Product Development practice and needs a hands-on Windchill Consultant to manage installations, rehosting, upgrades, configuration/customization, and change request workflows. You'll support internal teams and customers, blending technical depth with strong client communication.

Key Responsibilities Handle Windchill installations, rehosting, and version upgrades across dev/test/production environments. Configure and customize PDMLink, Project Link, and MPMLink — lifecycles, workflows, ACLs, OIRs, and attributes. Develop customizations using Java, Windchill APIs, JSP, and REST/SOAP web services for ERP/CAD/MES integrations.

Own end-to-end Change Request/Change Management configuration and support (ECR/ECO/ECN workflows). Manage WBM migrations, ESI, CAD worker setup, and vault/cluster configuration. Troubleshoot, tune, and secure production Windchill environments.

Log and resolve support tickets (Jira/Zendesk) within SLA, providing remote and on-site assistance.



Document configurations/upgrades and mentor junior consultants as you grow into a specialist role.

Required Skills and Experience5+ years hands-on with PTC Windchill (installation, rehosting, upgrade, customization). Bachelor's/Master's in Mechanical, Computer Science, or related field.

Strong

Java/J2 EE, JSP, XML, Java Script, and Windchill API/web services skills. Working knowledge of Oracle/SQL, Windows OS, and networking.

Experience with Change Management module and ECR/ECO workflows. Familiarity with ticketing systems and customer support platforms. Excellent written/verbal English; customer-focused, collaborative, adaptable. Nice-to-Have Thing Worx exposure, Agile/CI-CD experience, cloud/Io T integration knowledge, and PTC certifications.
