Role Description The Web Development Intern will support the design, development, and maintenance of web applications and interfaces for client and internal projects. Day-to-day work includes assisting with front-end and back-end development tasks, implementing UI designs, testing and debugging features, and ensuring responsive, user-friendly experiences across devices. The intern will collaborate with developers, designers, and project leads to translate requirements into clean, efficient code and contribute to documentation and basic deployment processes.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kupwara, with opportunities to learn modern frameworks, tools, and best practices in a professional development environment.
Qualifications
- Foundational skills in Web Development,
including both Front-End Development and Back-End Web Development.
- Ability to work with Web Design concepts and implement user-friendly, responsive interfaces.
- Strong Communication skills for collaborating with team members and understanding technical and business requirements.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; familiarity with at least one modern front-end framework (such as React, Vue, or Angular) is a plus.
- Exposure to server-side technologies (such as Node.js, Python, or PHP) and databases (SQL or NoSQL) is beneficial.
- Interest in learning version control tools (e.g., Git) and following clean code, testing, and documentation practices.
- Ability to learn quickly, take feedback constructively, and work on-site full time in Kupwara.
- Currently pursuing or having recently completed a degree or certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
