Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Experienced School Bus Driver based in Faridabad, serving Pathways School Gurgaon.

The School Bus

Driver will safely operate school buses on assigned routes, ensuring timely pick-up and drop-off of students and staff while complying with all traffic regulations and school transportation policies. Daily responsibilities include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle,



and monitoring student behavior to maintain a calm, respectful, and secure setting. The driver will communicate clearly with the transport coordinator, school administration, and parents as needed regarding schedules, delays, and incidents, and will respond appropriately to emergencies following established safety procedures.

Additional duties may include supporting route planning, participating in regular safety trainings, and completing required logs and documentation.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong professional driving skills, including experience in Truck Driving or comparable heavy vehicle operation.
- Candidates should demonstrate Defensive Driving skills with a solid understanding of road safety and traffic regulations.
- Candidates should have effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact respectfully with students, parents, and school staff.
- Candidates should hold a valid CDL Class B (or equivalent local commercial/heavy vehicle license) and maintain a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a school bus or passenger transport driver is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work early mornings and afternoons, follow structured routes, and manage time reliably.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance checks and reporting of mechanical issues.
- Commitment to child safety, adherence to school safeguarding policies, and willingness to undergo background checks as required.
