Job Title: Web Developer (1–3 Years Experience)

Job Brief

We are looking for a skilled and adaptable Web Developer with 1–3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across Shopify, WordPress, and custom web builds, and is equally proficient in front-end development as they are in backend/API integrations. Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, Lovable, Emergent) is a strong plus, as we value developers who can move fast and work smart.

Responsibilities

- Customize and build Shopify themes using Liquid, and integrate with Shopify APIs (Admin/Storefront) for custom functionality
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and plugins
- Build responsive, interactive UI components using React, Bootstrap, HTML, and CSS
- Develop and maintain backend logic and APIs using PHP and Laravel




- Optimize website speed and performance across platforms (image optimization, caching, lazy loading, code splitting)
- Implement on-page SEO best practices (meta tags, semantic HTML, structured data, page speed factors)
- Manage version control using Git and collaborate through GitLab (branching, merge requests, code reviews)
- Work with MySQL databases — writing queries, optimizing schema, and handling data migrations
- Use AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT) and rapid prototyping/"vibe coding" platforms (Lovable, Emergent) to accelerate development and prototyping
- Debug, test, and fix issues across live and staging environments
- Collaborate with designers, QA, and senior developers to deliver projects on time
- Stay current with web development trends, tools, and best practices

Qualifications

- 1–3 years of proven experience in web development
- Hands-on experience with Shopify theme customization, Liquid, and Shopify APIs
- Working knowledge of WordPress (themes, plugins, custom post types)
- Proficiency in React, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap
- Backend experience with PHP and Laravel
- Understanding of on-page SEO fundamentals
- Experience with Git and GitLab workflows
- Working knowledge of MySQL and relational database concepts
- Familiarity with website speed optimization techniques
- Comfortable using AI coding assistants (Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT) and no-code/low-code "vibe coding" tools (Lovable, Emergent)
