Role Objective

- Drive loss reduction across the logistics network by identifying operational leakages, controlling fraud,
- strengthening process compliance, and executing data-driven corrective actions.
- The role requires:
- strong ownership, field control, investigation capability, analytical thinking, and cross-functional
- execution to reduce financial and operational losses.
- The candidate must act as a business controller for shipment security, operational discipline, and process governance across hubs, linehaul, warehouses, FM operations, and delivery networks.

Core Responsibilities 1. Loss Reduction & Control

- Drive end-to-end loss reduction initiatives across the supply chain network.
- Identify hidden operational leakages, fraud patterns, process manipulation, and shipment

pilferage.
- Control shortage, damage, swap, fake delivery, no-info, and misroute cases with strict

governance.
- Monitor high-loss hubs, repeat offenders, risky vendors, suspicious sellers, and vulnerable

process gaps.
- Ensure closure of pending loss cases and reduce ageing inventory/shipment pendency.
- Develop strong preventive controls to minimize operational and financial exposure.

2. Investigation & Intelligence Management

- Lead detailed investigations for lost, manipulated, suspicious, or high-value shipments.
- Analyze shipment journey, scan events, CCTV footage, rider movement, and operational

handling.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) with accountability mapping.
- Detect internal fraud, process bypassing, fake scans, seal misuse, and operational manipulation.
- Coordinate with field teams, security, and legal teams for serious fraud investigations.
- Support FIR filing, legal documentation, and evidence management where required.

Operational Governance & Audit Control

- Conduct surprise audits across hubs, warehouses, and delivery centers.
- Ensure strict SOP adherence for shipment handling, scanning, bagging, sealing, and dispatch

operations.
- Monitor shipment touchpoints to eliminate manual manipulation opportunities.
- Validate compliance of dual scan, thermal print, CCTV visibility, shipment handover, and

inventory controls.
- Build accountability mechanisms for repeated process failures.
- Escalate non-compliance and operational negligence with corrective action plans.

4. Data Analytics & Command Center Monitoring

- Monitor operational dashboards, pendency reports, ageing reports, and loss trends.
- Perform deep data analysis to identify network risk zones and operational abnormalities.
- Develop actionable MIS, scorecards, trackers, and performance dashboards.
- Use data-driven insights to predict risk trends and prevent future losses.
- Ensure management visibility on critical risks, top loss locations, and recovery opportunities.

5. Cross-Functional Execution

- Work closely with Operations, FM, Security, Tech, Product, Linehaul, and Customer Experience

teams.
- Drive process correction initiatives with clear ownership and timelines.
- Coordinate with tech teams for automation and control enhancement projects.
- Influence operational teams to implement tighter controls and disciplined execution.
- Act as a bridge between field operations and central governance teams.

6. Process Excellence & Improvement Projects





- Lead projects focused on operational control and loss prevention.
- Implement scalable process controls to reduce human dependency and manipulation.
- Drive initiatives such as:

Dual scan implementation

Thermal print compliance

Agrex CCTV monitoring

Shipment journey visibility

Seller handshake verification

Bagging & seal control

Exception monitoring systems

- Build sustainable operational controls for long-term reduction in losses.
