Role & responsibilities

- Conduct theory and practical classes for B.Sc. Nursing and other nursing students.

- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, presentations, and academic schedules.

- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to students during hospital postings.

- Demonstrate nursing procedures and ensure secure clinical practice.

- Assess and evaluate students through internal assessments, practical examinations, assignments, and clinical performance.

- Maintain student attendance, academic records, clinical logbooks, and other required documentation.

- Conduct seminars, case studies, journal clubs, tutorials, and skill-based learning activities.

- Mentor and guide students in academic, clinical, and professional development.

- Participate in curriculum planning, departmental meetings, and academic activities.

- Guide students in research projects, presentations, and evidence-based nursing practice.





- Participate in research activities and contribute to research publications.

- Coordinate with clinical departments for effective student clinical training.

- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, nursing standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

- Participate in quality improvement, infection prevention, patient safety, and NABH-related activities.

- Organize and participate in workshops, conferences, continuing nursing education (CNE), and faculty development programmes.

- Support examination-related activities, including question paper preparation, evaluation, and practical examinations.

- Maintain confidentiality of student and patient information.

- Perform any other academic, clinical, and administrative duties assigned by the Head of the Department/Principal.
