We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong AWS DevOps expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting cloud-native backend applications while managing a small AWS environment, CI/CD pipelines, and operational support activities.

Key Responsibilities
Application Development
- Design and develop scalable Java-based backend applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
- Build and maintain secure REST APIs for enterprise applications.
- Implement event-driven solutions using Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Perform code reviews and enforce coding best practices.
AWS Environment Management
- Manage and maintain a small-to-medium AWS environment.
- Provision and configure AWS resources including EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, and networking components.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health using CloudWatch and logging tools.
- Implement security best practices including IAM policies, encryption, backups, and patch management.
- Support production deployments and operational troubleshooting.
DevOps & Automation
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments.
- Automate operational tasks and environment provisioning.
- Collaborate with QA and infrastructure teams to improve release efficiency.
