Position Overview

We are seeking a highly driven and execution-focused Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee and scale operations across The Waffle Co. and Ammy's Coffee. The COO will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day business operations, driving growth initiatives, improving profitability, managing cross-functional teams, and executing the strategic vision of the organization.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership abilities, experience in multi-unit retail/F&B; businesses, and the capability to manage operations, marketing, logistics, franchise support, and business development under one leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Business Management

* Oversee end-to-end operations of both brands.

* Ensure SOP compliance across company-owned and franchise locations.

* Improve operational efficiency, quality control, and customer experience.

* Monitor business performance and implement improvement initiatives.

Marketing & Brand Growth

* Lead marketing strategy and execution.

* Coordinate digital marketing, social media, promotions, and campaigns.

* Drive customer acquisition and retention initiatives.

* Monitor brand positioning and market expansion opportunities.

Supply Chain & Dispatch

* Oversee procurement, inventory planning, warehousing, and dispatch operations.

* Ensure timely delivery of products and supplies.

* Optimize logistics costs and operational workflows.

Franchise & Expansion Management





* Support franchise onboarding and training.

* Monitor franchise performance and compliance.

* Assist in recent store launches and market expansion plans.

Team Leadership

* Lead and manage department heads and key managers.

* Build performance-driven teams and accountability systems.

* Establish KPIs and review mechanisms across departments.

Finance & Performance Monitoring

* Track revenue, profitability, and operational metrics.

* Prepare business performance reports for leadership.

* Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.

Strategic Execution

* Translate company goals into actionable execution plans.

* Drive growth projects and cross-functional initiatives.

* Act as the primary bridge between ownership and operational teams.

Preferred Qualifications

* 7–15+ years of leadership experience.

* Experience in F&B;, QSR, retail, franchising, hospitality, or consumer brands.

* Strong understanding of operations, marketing, supply chain, and business management.

* Proven experience managing multiple teams and locations.

* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
