About The Role The Cogent is seeking a talented and imaginative Video Editor to join our creative team in Jaipur. This is a full-time, in office role ideal for someone passionate about visual storytelling and up-to-date with the latest trends in short-form video content.

You’ll be editing content for platforms like e-commerce Product Shoot, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and podcasts, so experience in dynamic, social-first video editing is a must. Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Cap Cut is essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit engaging short-form video content for Instagram, YouTube, and other social platforms
- Produce high-quality podcast videos with clean cuts, synced audio, and visual polish
- Incorporate transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, and special effects creatively
- Handle audio editing—balancing music, dialogue, and ambient effects




- Stay updated and implement current editing trends and viral video formats
- Collaborate closely with the creative team for content planning and execution

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Proven experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and CapCut
- Solid understanding of sound design and audio-video syncing
- Demonstrated ability to edit both video and audio podcast formats
- Keen awareness of social media editing trends, especially for reels and shorts
- Strong sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver on tight deadlines
