Job: Video Editor & Shooter

Bobby Mukherji Architects is looking for a creative, highly skilled Video Editor who can also shoot when needed, to create premium visual content across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube. This is primarily an editing role — the editor drives the creative vision for every piece of content, and picks up the camera themselves whenever they need a specific shot to get that vision on screen.

Key Responsibilities

- Take full ownership of the edit — review raw footage and independently identify the strongest shots, cuts, sequences, pacing and transitions to shape the final cinematic output.
- Edit high-quality, cinematic video content for social media and brand communication — Reels, project films, behind-the-scenes content, event aftermovies and other formats.
- Shoot supplementary/pickup footage as and when required. Since the edit is driven by the editor's own creative vision, they should be able to go out and capture the exact shots, coverage or B-roll the cut needs, rather than depending entirely on footage shot by someone else.
- Develop motion graphics, animations, typography and visual effects to enhance content.
- Handle and grade footage from professional/cinematic shoots (multi-cam included).
- Create/refine carousels.




- Work from briefs and limited source material while bringing robust creative thinking and initiative.
- Maintain a consistent, premium BMA visual language while producing content with speed and consistency.

Required Skills

- Excellent video editing and visual storytelling skills — this is the core of the role.
- Strong understanding of pacing, composition, music, transitions and cinematic editing.
- Working knowledge of shooting/camera operation (DSLR/mirrorless, gimbal, basic lighting) — enough to independently shoot pickup shots that match your own vision for the edit. Not expected to be a dedicated cinematographer.
- Strong motion graphics skills; After Effects experience preferred.
- Solid aesthetic sense, particularly for architecture, interiors and luxury design.
- Comfortable with Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva, CapCut and similar tools.
- Familiarity with AI creative tools such as Higgsfield, Midjourney, Google Flow, Gemini, Claude and ChatGPT.
- Comfortable receiving direction from senior team members and independently executing a brief.

Note: This is a Video Editor–first role. Shooting is a supporting skill used to fill gaps in coverage so the editor can realise their own creative vision — not a standalone shooter position.

A strong portfolio/showreel is essential. Experience in architecture, interiors, hospitality, real estate or luxury brands is a bonus.
