Company Description Pathsarthee Foundation is an education NGO dedicated to building independent thinkers in rural India by strengthening students’ thinking, communication, and personality. Working closely with rural schools and communities, the organization focuses on structured thinking and real-world exposure rather than rote memorization. Its programs help students ask questions confidently, express ideas clearly, and develop decision-making and self-awareness.

Pathsarthee also introduces basic digital literacy and general awareness, making technology and the modern world more familiar and accessible to rural students. The foundation’s work aims to bridge the gap between traditional schooling and the skills needed for life, opportunities, and informed choices.

Role Description This is a full time, on-site Video Editor role based in Lucknow.

The Video

Editor will capture, edit, and produce video content that showcases Pathsarthee Foundation’s programs, student journeys, and community impact. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing raw footage, assembling story-driven edits, applying color grading and sound enhancements, and creating motion graphics or simple visual elements to support educational content. The role involves collaborating with program teams to understand learning objectives, developing engaging videos for social media and internal use,



and maintaining an organized archive of media assets.

The Video

Editor will also support content planning, participate in ideation for campaigns, and ensure all outputs align with the organization’s mission and brand guidelines.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, including handling cameras, audio, and assembling coherent visual narratives.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency, mood, and high-quality final output.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, simple animations, and visual aids for educational content.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing and design tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Photoshop or equivalent) is beneficial.
- Strong storytelling ability, attention to detail, and the capacity to translate educational concepts into engaging visual content are preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Lucknow, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple projects and deadlines is required.
- Previous experience in NGO, education, or social impact projects, and basic understanding of social media formats and best practices, will be an advantage.
