Hiring: Video Editor & Content Production Associate

About the Role

MedFits Private Limited is looking for a skilled and experienced Video Editor & Content Production professional who can take ownership of the complete video production workflow — from camera and lighting setup to editing, color grading, motion graphics, and final delivery.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with DaVinci Resolve, understand professional video production, and have the creative ability to transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality content for health, fitness, educational, social media, and brand campaigns.

This is not a basic editing role. We are looking for someone who understands both the technical and creative aspects of video production.

Key Responsibilities

? Camera & Production

Set up and operate cameras for professional video production. Underst and camera settings including exposure, shutter speed, ISO, white balance, frame rates, resolution, and codecs. Set up and manage key light, fill light, backlight, practical lighting, and soft lighting setups. Underst and lighting for talking-head videos, interviews, educational content, reels, and promotional videos. Manage camera angles, framing, composition, and visual continuity.

Handle basic on-set troubleshooting for camera, lighting, and audio equipment.

? Video Editing

Edit l ong-form videos, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, educational videos, advertisements, and brand content. Build e ngaging narratives through pacing, sequencing, cuts, B-roll, sound design, and visual storytelling. Create multiple versions/formats of content for different digital platforms.



Work ef ficiently with large volumes of raw footage while maintaining organized project files.

? DaVinci Resolve & Color

Advanc ed proficiency in DaVinci Resolve is required. Perform professional color correction and color grading. Underst and nodes, scopes, LUTs, color management, skin tones, exposure matching, white balance, and shot matching. Create consistent visual looks across different cameras and shooting conditions. Develop cinematic and brand-specific visual styles where required.

✨ Motion Graphics & Visual Design

Create professional text animations, titles, lower thirds, transitions, callouts, and overlays. Use mot ion graphics to improve viewer retention and communicate information clearly. Basic-t o-intermediate knowledge of DaVinci Resolve Fusion is preferred. Ability to create visually engaging content without overusing unnecessary effects.

? Audio & Finishing

Perfor mbasic audio cleanup, noise reduction, EQ, compression, and volume balancing. Integra te music and sound effects appropriately. Ensure videos are properly formatted, exported, and optimized for different platforms.

1+ yea rof practical experience in professional video editing/content production is preferred. Strong hands-on experience with DaVinci Resolve. Ability to independently handle camera + lighting + editing workflows. Strong understanding of cinematography, composition, lighting, and visual storytelling. Experie nce creating content for Instagram,



YouTube, and other digital platforms.

Strong understanding of short-form content and audience retention. Positive se nse of pacing, typography, transitions, sound design, and visual aesthetics. Ability to understand a brief and independently execute the required creative direction. Strong attention to detail and consistency. Ability to take feedback positively and iterate quickly. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Ideal Ca ndidate The idea lcandidate is someone who can walk into a shoot, set up the camera and lighting, record quality footage, bring the footage into DaVinci Resolve, edit it, color grade it, add motion graphics and sound design, and deliver a polished final video with minimal supervision.
