Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor at Reshuffle.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, cutting and arranging clips, adding transitions, effects, and graphics, and ensuring that videos meet brand and client guidelines. The role includes collaborating with project managers, freelancers, and clients to understand project goals, refining video concepts, and delivering engaging content for digital platforms. Daily tasks involve adjusting sound levels, color-correcting footage, optimizing formats for various channels, and maintaining organized media libraries.

Editor will also provide creative input, suggest improvements to video storytelling, and meet deadlines across multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications

- Proficiency with professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Skills in motion graphics and basic visual effects using tools such as After Effects or similar.
- Solid sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition for digital video content.
- Experience editing content for social media, marketing campaigns, tutorials, or promotional materials.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, follow creative briefs, and deliver high-quality work on deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote, distributed team workplace.
- Attention to detail in sound design, color correction, typography, and branding consistency.
- Familiarity with freelance and client-based workflows; prior experience working with startups or creative agencies is a plus.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, communications, or equivalent professional experience.
