Role Description The Video Editor role at IMARKIT MEDIA is a full time, on-site position based in the Mohali district.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage into polished, engaging video content for news segments, brand campaigns, and social media. Daily tasks include cutting and sequencing clips, adding transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, and collaborating with producers, filmmakers, and marketing teams to align content with creative and strategic objectives. The role also involves color grading, basic motion graphics integration,



and ensuring that all deliverables meet technical standards and deadlines.

The Video

Editor will contribute ideas to improve visual storytelling and maintain consistency with IMARKIT MEDIA’s brand and editorial guidelines.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with the ability to handle end-to-end post-production workflows.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to enhance visual quality and maintain a consistent look and feel across projects.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, overlays, and other visual elements.
- Knowledge of industry-standard editing and post-production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro).
- Ability to work on-site in Mohali district, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, visual storytelling ability, and an understanding of social media and digital content formats.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, communications, or a related field; prior experience in news or advertising environments is an asset.
