Video Editor — 4PM News Network

4PM News Network is looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our Mumbai-based newsroom. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of news content, excellent editing skills, and the ability to create engaging videos for YouTube, social media, and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit news videos, interviews, reports, reels, Shorts, and social media content.
- Create engaging and visually compelling edits while maintaining accuracy and journalistic context.
- Add graphics, captions, transitions, sound effects, music, and other elements where required.
- Create attention-grabbing thumbnails and video openings/hooks when needed.
- Repurpose long-form news content into short-form videos for YouTube Shorts, Instagram, Facebook, and X.
- Work closely with reporters, producers, and the editorial team to meet tight deadlines.
- Ensure videos are properly formatted and optimized for different digital platforms.
- Stay updated with current video-editing trends and social-media formats.





Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in video editing, preferably in a news/digital media environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, or similar tools is a plus.
- Good understanding of pacing, storytelling, sound, graphics, and visual composition.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently under newsroom deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of Hindi news and social-media content will be an advantage.
