As a Vertex Consultant, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in Vertex (or Avalara) to optimize tax rules, system configurations, and automation testing within a dynamic, high-impact team. Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage complex tax rules in Vertex (or Avalara) software- Implement intricate logic, including Boolean conditions and advanced tax rules- Support the seamless deployment of tax configurations- Develop and scale robust automation testing solutions (from proof-of-concept to enterprise-level)- Provide ongoing troubleshooting and support to ensure optimal tax compliance Required Skills:
- Proven expertise in Vertex or Avalara tax software- Comprehensive understanding of tax rules and compliance systems- Hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks, such as Selenium or equivalent- Ability to ideate, build, and scale creative solutions from proof-of-concept to production Preferred Skills:
