We are looking for an experienced Upwork Proposal Writer who knows how to identify the right opportunities on Upwork and create proposals that generate strong client responses and business opportunities.

? What We're Looking ForWe're specifically looking for someone who has personally generated or contributed to $100K–$500K+ in annual business through Upwork.

This is not a generic content-writing role. You should understand Upwork clients, project requirements, proposal positioning, and what makes a proposal stand out in a competitive marketplace.

? Key Responsibilities

- Research and identify high-value and relevant Upwork projects for SoluLab.
- Analyze project requirements, client history, budget, competition, and project fit before submitting proposals.
- Write highly personalized and client-focused Upwork proposals.
- Create strong opening messages that directly address the client's requirement or business problem.
- Position SoluLab's relevant technical expertise, case studies, and previous work within proposals.
- Customize proposals based on project type, industry, budget, and client requirements.
- Avoid generic, copy-paste, and template-based proposals.
- Track proposal performance,



response rates, interviews, project awards, and revenue.
- Continuously improve proposal messaging based on performance data.
- Handle initial client communication on Upwork when required.
- Coordinate with internal technical teams to obtain relevant project information for proposals.
- Maintain a structured database of successful proposals, case studies, responses, and winning approaches.

? Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on Upwork proposal writing experience.
- Proven track record of generating/contributing to $100K–$500K+ annual Upwork business.
- Strong understanding of the Upwork bidding and proposal ecosystem.
- Experience writing proposals for software/technology development projects.
- Excellent written English and communication skills.
- Robust research and analytical abilities.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and communicate them clearly to potential clients.
- Ability to identify high-quality opportunities instead of focusing only on proposal volume.
- Experience dealing with international clients, especially from the USA, UK, UAE, Australia, Canada, and Europe.
