We are looking for a Snowflake Engineer to join our Cloud Operations team and help run reliable, secure, scalable, and cost-productive production platforms across a multi-cloud, multi-region, geo-distributed environment. The role is hands-on, Snowflake and BI Tools heavy and operationally focused, supporting SaaS services and infrastructure that must remain highly available and performant.
You will work closely with engineering, security, and product teams to support day-to-day operations, improve automation, strengthen observability, and reduce cloud waste through disciplined resource management.
This is a hybrid role requiring minimum 3 days per week in our Bangalore office.
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience administering and supporting Snowflake in enterprise environments.
- 2-3 years of experience managing cloud infrastructure and data platforms on AWS and/or Azure.
- Snowflake Certification (SnowPro Core or SnowPro Advanced).
- Experience administering one or more relational database platforms is a plus.

Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, administer, and maintain the Snowflake data platform.
- Maintain and enhance the existing AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure and Snowflake services.
- Design and implement Snowflake architecture, including databases, schemas, virtual warehouses, security, RBAC, and governance best practices.
- Monitor Snowflake environments, troubleshoot incidents, and optimize platform performance and cost.
- Develop and maintain automation using SQL, SnowSQL, Snowflake Tasks, Streams, Stored Procedures, Python, and Shell scripting.
- Implement and manage data ingestion and integration using Snowflake Openflow, Snowpipe,
and cloud storage integrations where applicable.
- Manage schema changes, database objects, data loading/unloading, Secure Data Sharing, replication, cloning, Time Travel, and disaster recovery.
- Improve platform availability, scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency through automation, monitoring, and process improvements.
- Attend service request ticket queues regularly and resolve service requests and incidents within defined SLAs.
- Work closely with various stakeholders to ensure feature enhancements, security, uptime, and scalability requirements are met.
- Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation schedule and respond to occasional off-hour outages and take part in subsequent service restoration efforts.
