- Implement and configure Vertex tax engine (O Series or Cloud) for Sales & Use Tax per requirementn
- Knowledge of Technical Integration of Vertex with ERP platforms such as SAP ECC, S/4HANAn
- 7+ years in VERTEX O-Series 9.0, Vertex Q Series consulting experience of SAP Finance with VERTEX US Tax Knowledgen
- Taxability Driver knowledge is requiredn
- Create Tax Rules as requested, experience in Vertex customization, master data, and Tax Journal reportingn
- Customize current taxpayers (SAP company codes) for projectsn
- Coordinate with Tax, IT, and Finance teams to gather requirements and deliver solutionsn
- Monitor and troubleshoot tax calculation and integration issues across systemsn




- Analyze business transactions and apply accurate tax rules and logic for determinationn
- Lead system testing (unit, integration, UAT) and provide training to usersn
- Maintain documentation on configuration, rule logic, and support processesn
- Ensure compliance with U.S. and global sales and use tax regulationsn
- Support tax compliance processes including reporting, exemption certificate management, and returnsn
