Responsibilities
Deliver employability skills, life skills, IT Skills, financial literacy and other work-related training that empowers youth to take up employment or further education. Work with youth to identify their livelihood targets, either taking up work or further education, and support them to achieve these targets through the Magic Bus Livelihood skills training programme. Mobilise, counsel and create training pathways for each trainee consisting of life skills, employability, IT and vocational training to enable youth to realise their career goals
Responsibilities
- Induction delivery: Lead structured induction for youth joining the programme.
- Training management: Deliver and oversee all training sessions to ensure consistent outcomes.
- Timetable design: Work with the team to create and update effective training schedules.
- Innovative techniques: Use interactive,
engaging training methods.
- Youth engagement: Act as a lead worker in early engagement, motivate youth, and ensure attendance.
- Mentor matching: Pair youth with mentors and support mentor effectiveness.
- Placement focus: Ensure training and counselling lead to sustainable jobs or education.
