About the RoleBuildAmbit is looking for a Training & Placement Officer, Corporate Partnerships to build strong relationships with AEC companies and create meaningful hiring opportunities for BuildAmbit's learners.

The core responsibility of this role will be to identify corporate hiring requirements, build employer relationships, bring relevant opportunities to BuildAmbit, and drive the complete placement process from requirement to joining.

The role will work closely with the Talent Partnerships, Program, and Learner Success teams to ensure that learner skills and training are aligned with actual industry requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesCorporate & Hiring Partnerships

- Identify and engage large, mid-sized, and emerging AEC organisations for hiring partnerships.
- Build relationships with HR, Talent Acquisition, Business Heads, Hiring Managers, and Functional Heads.
- Understand current and upcoming hiring requirements across Architecture, Engineering, Construction, BIM, Real Estate, EPC, and allied sectors.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of corporate hiring opportunities for BuildAmbit learners.
- Position BuildAmbit as a reliable source of trained and industry-ready AEC talent.
- Maintain regular engagement with corporate partners to generate repeat and recurring hiring requirements.
- Explore opportunities for placements, internships, projects, and other employer-led engagements.





Placement Management
- Own the placement process from job requirement, candidate mapping, shortlisting, interviews, selection, offer, and joining.
- Identify suitable BuildAmbit learners based on employer requirements and skill fit.
- Coordinate interviews, assessments, placement drives, and recruitment activities with corporate partners.
- Maintain regular communication with both employers and candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Track placement pipeline, interviews, selections, offers, and joining.
- Collect employer feedback and use it to improve candidate quality and learner readiness.

Industry & Training Alignment
- Work with internal Program and Training teams to understand learner capabilities and skill gaps.
- Bring real-time industry hiring requirements and employer feedback into learner preparation and training.
- Support mock interviews, employer interactions, industry sessions, and other employability initiatives.
- Ensure learners are appropriately prepared for the roles and companies they are being mapped to.

What We're Looking For
- 2 to 5 years of experience in corporate partnerships, placements, recruitment, talent acquisition, employer relations,



or business development.
- Experience in building relationships with corporates and hiring organisations is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with the AEC industry will be a significant advantage.
- Robust ability to engage with HR, TA, hiring managers, and business leaders.
- Understanding of recruitment and placement processes.
- Excellent communication, relationship management, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Strong ownership and ability to manage multiple hiring requirements simultaneously.
- Good working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets and CRM tools.
- Any graduate degree; B.Arch, Civil Engineering, or other AEC-related qualifications are preferred.
