Role Description:-

This is a full-time, on-site role based at the School of Law, IMS Unison University in Dehradun. The Training & Placement Officer will coordinate campus placement activities, engage with law firms, corporates, and government organisations to build recruitment partnerships, and organise pre-placement talks, internship drives, and final placements for law students.

The role involves coordinating with the Dean of the School of Law to plan and strategise training and placement activities; designing and delivering training modules on soft skills, professional etiquette, interview preparation,



and career readiness; and identifying individual student needs and mentoring them for career progression. The officer will maintain placement records and employer databases, and prepare regular reports on placement outcomes and student development.

Qualifications:-

- Graduate in Law from a reputed University
- 5+ years' experience in Training & Placement of Law Students
- Knowledge of the legal industry, including common career pathways, recruitment trends, and employer expectations in law firms, corporates, and public sector organizations.
- Excellent computer skills (MS Excel, Word & Power point)
- Strong interpersonal skills to network with employers
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with students, recruiters, faculty, and alumni, and to represent the university professionally.
- Candidates with in-hand experience of training and placement of Law students shall only apply
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic data management for maintaining placement statistics and preparing reports is a must.
