We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Tekla Modeler with 1–5 years of experience to join our structural detailing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating accurate 3D structural steel models, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings using Tekla Structures for Australian projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop accurate 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures.
- Prepare detailed fabrication, shop, and erection drawings.
- Interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and engineering documents.
- Model structural steel members, connections, plates, bolts, stairs, handrails, and other steel components.
- Ensure models and drawings comply with project requirements, Australian Standards, and client specifications.
- Coordinate with engineers, detailers, and project teams to resolve design and detailing issues.
- Perform model checking and identify clashes, discrepancies, and constructability issues.
- Incorporate revisions and client/engineering comments into models and drawings.
- Generate material lists, bolt lists, and other required fabrication information.
- Maintain accuracy,



quality, and timely delivery of assigned projects.
- Follow company drafting and detailing standards and project-specific requirements.

Requirements
- 1–5 years of experience as a Tekla Modeler / Structural Steel Detailer.
- Good working knowledge of Tekla Structures.
- Experience in structural steel detailing and 3D modelling.
- Ability to read and understand structural, architectural, and engineering drawings.
- Basic understanding of steel fabrication and construction processes.
- Knowledge of Australian Standards and Australian structural steel detailing practices will be an advantage.
- Good attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to Australian project requirements.

Preferred Skills
- Experience working on Australian structural steel projects.
- Experience with fabrication and erection drawings.
- Knowledge of Tekla numbering, assemblies, reports, and drawing management.
- Experience coordinating with engineers, fabricators, and site teams.
