Technochem Industries (brand: Osaka) is a Pune based manufacturer of industrial surface coating and finishing systems, established in 1999. We design, build, install and commission turnkey solutions including conveyorised powder coating plants, liquid and powder robotic painting systems, electrostatic spray and bell applicators, phosphating and pre-treatment lines, industrial curing and drying ovens, and overhead and ground conveyors. We serve automotive, auto component, aerospace, heavy fabrication and general engineering customers across India.

ROLE OBJECTIVE

Sell Osaka spray painting equipment and liquid finishing accessories and provide application support to help customers achieve the right finish.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Sell spray guns (pressure feed, gravity, HVLP, touch up), pressure feed containers and tanks, pneumatic agitators and stirrers, airless and air assisted units, and allied painting accessories.
- Sell and support Statfield electrostatic powder coating equipment (Magnum I and Magnum II series and the Shalaka PP 17 powder coating gun) alongside the liquid painting range, and advise customers on powder application, transfer efficiency and finish quality.
- Advise customers on gun selection, nozzle and air cap combinations, and fluid delivery for their paint type and target finish.




- Prepare quotations and techno commercial offers, cross check line items before release.
- Demonstrate equipment, conduct spray trials, and troubleshoot finish defects such as orange peel, runs and overspray.
- Support liquid robotic painting and electrostatic bell enquiries in coordination with the projects team.
- Manage the distributor and dealer network and direct OEM accounts in the assigned territory.
- Meet order booking, margin and collection targets.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS (MUST HAVE)

- Knowledge of liquid spray finishing methods: conventional, HVLP, airless, air assisted airless and electrostatic.
- Understanding of viscosity, atomization, fluid and air pressure, nozzle sizing and transfer efficiency.
- Familiarity with paint circulation, pressure feed systems and agitators.
- Basic understanding of solvent borne and waterborne paints.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Paint or Chemical, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 2 to 5 years in painting equipment sales, or in a paint shop or finishing role.

PREFERRED

- Exposure to Osaka, Prona, Graco, Binks or Sames spray equipment.
- Automotive, auto component or fabrication paint shop background.
- Must be able to travel as per project requirement.
