Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical / Electronics
- Additional qualification in management or relevant technical certification will be an advantage.

Experience

- 8 –12+ years of relevant experience in R&D;, Technical Engineering, Product Development, Engineering, or Manufacturing.
- Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the R&D; and Technical Engineering functions.
- Manage current product development, product improvement and engineering projects.
- Prepare and review technical specifications, drawings, BOMs and engineering documentation.
- Lead design, testing, validation and qualification activities.
- Identify technical problems and provide effective root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, Sales and Customer teams for technical requirements.
- Drive cost reduction, productivity improvement and product/process optimization.
- Manage engineering change requests, ECN/ECR and product revisions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable technical standards, specifications and statutory requirements.
- Plan and monitor R&D; projects, timelines, budgets and resources.
- Develop and mentor engineers and technical team members.
- Provide technical support for customer complaints, field issues and new projects.
- Evaluate new technologies, components, equipment and engineering solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation, test reports,



validation records and engineering databases.
- Support management in developing the organization’s technology and R&D; roadmap.
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of high-efficiency UPS, Solar Hybrid Inverters, PCS for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Industrial DC Power Systems. Drive innovation in advanced power-conversion topologies, including multilevel inverters, bidirectional DC-DC converters, transformer less and transformer-based architectures, and SiC/GaN-based high-frequency designs. Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging power-electronics technologies to improve efficiency, reliability, scalability, thermal performance, and overall system cost-effectiveness.
