nJob Summary:
nWe are seeking a skilled Database Engineer 3 with a strong focus on Teradata database engineering, complemented by exposure to cloud technologies, Unix, and shell scripting. In this role, you will lead and manage the systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area, ensuring high levels of availability and efficiency.

nResponsibilities:
nLead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area.
nContribute to increasing system efficiencies and reducing human intervention time on related tasks.
nReview and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure optimal systems and infrastructure availability.
nCollaborate with vendors and technical personnel for effective problem resolution.
nGuide the team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging a solid understanding of technical process controls and standards.




nCoordinate processes between different teams, possibly across various locations.
nProduce deployment, implementation, and run book plans.
nConduct release readiness and milestone reviews.
nMaintain release schedules for core systems, ensuring alignment with major vendors and stakeholders.
nDevelop automation and release management tools, along with scripts necessary for software release construction, continuous integration, and deployment.
nResearch recent software development methods and techniques for managing configurations based on business needs.
nUtilize troubleshooting skills and collaborate closely with operations, support, engineering, and other functions.
nManage stakeholders and work with multiple cross-functional teams that are geographically dispersed.
nAssume other duties and responsibilities as directed by management.
