SQL Server Database Administrator Walkin Interview@ Greater Noida SQL Server Database Administrator Location: Greater Noida Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, Yamuna Tower VI, Plot No. 22, Greater Noida, Sector135, Noida - 201301 Experience: 6 years to 11 years Interview Mode: Walk In Drive Interview Date: 22nd Aug 2025 (Saturday) Interview Time: 10: 00 AM to 1: 00 PM Must-Have: Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator hands-on experience administering Microsoft SQL Server in enterprise production environments. Robust expertise in installing, configuring, patching, upgrading, and maintaining SQL Server instances. Hands-on experience with SQL Server Always On Availability Groups, Windows Server Failover Clustering, and Log Shipping. Strong knowledge of backup, restore, recovery, point-in-time recovery, and database consistency validation. Experience administering and supporting SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Integration Services (SSIS), and Analysis Services (SSAS). Proficiency in performance monitoring and tuning, including query optimization, execution plans,



indexing, statistics, blocking, deadlocks, and wait analysis. Experience with capacity planning, storage management, database growth forecasting, and resource optimization. Strong knowledge of SQL Server security, authentication, authorization, role-based access, encryption, auditing, and compliance controls. Experience planning and executing database migrations, consolidations, version upgrades, and lifecycle activities with minimal business disruption. Proficiency with SQL Server Agent, T-SQL, PowerShell, and automation of routine database administration activities. Experience with proactive monitoring, alerting, incident, problem, change, and service management processes in an ITIL-aligned environment.
