Position: Operations & Maintenance Engineer

Qualification: Diploma or Engineering Graduate (Mechanical/ Electrical/Chemical)

Experience: 3-5 years experience in Tank Terminal Operations and Maintenance. For Maintenance position process industry experience also preferred.

Location: JNPT & Kandla

Key Responsibilities:

- Tank farm operations Gauging, sampling, stock accounting of various products. Knowledge about terminal facilities like storage tanks, pipelines, various types of valves, etc.
- Tank Truck Gantry operations Checking of tank truck for safety fittings, inspection of TT for quality checking, Checking of TT documents, TT filling operations, etc.
- Product knowledge Aware of MSDS of various products like chemicals, petroleum products, etc.
- Vessels/ships handling Basic knowledge of ships, port facilities,



ship handling experience especially POL and chemicals handling, inspection of ship tanks, sounding/ stock accounting on board of ship, etc
- Safety Aware of safety regulations like OISD, PESO etc. Knowledge of safety systems like permit to work, fire fighting, emergency drills, etc.
- Maintenance Knowledge about various pumps and other equipments like air compressor, diesel generators, Weighbridge, etc. Familiar with preventative/breakdown maintenance of these equipments, statutory testing, calibration of equipments, etc.
