After chasing brokers, navigating fake listings, and locking up lakhs in deposits, most renters settle because the system leaves them no real choice. Helium is rebuilding rentals in India from the ground up with a discovery platform of exclusive, gated homes that are actually available and require just a one month deposit. Under the hood, we run two fintech products, a rent guarantee for homeowners and a credit led deposit solution for tenants.

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and execution-focused Recruiter to join our team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for hiring high-quality tech and non technical talent across functions such as Technology, Founder’s Office, Supply, Demand, Business Development, and Operations. You will own the recruitment process end-to-end and play a key role in helping Helium build its early team quickly.

Key Responsibilities

- Candidate Sourcing: Identify and reach out to relevant candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, college networks, communities, and direct outreach.
- End-to-End Hiring: Manage the complete recruitment process, from understanding the role and building the pipeline to interviews, offer closure, and joining.
- Candidate Screening: Conduct initial conversations to evaluate communication, motivation, ownership,



problem-solving ability, and overall fit for an early-stage startup.
- Candidate Engagement: Explain Helium’s business, vision, team, and growth opportunity to attract high-quality candidates.
- Interview Coordination & Reporting: Schedule interviews, collect feedback, maintain momentum, and ensure a smooth candidate experience while tracking key hiring metrics such as pipeline size, interview conversions, offers released, and expected joining dates.
- Talent Partner Management: Identify and onboard the right recruitment agencies, consultants, and talent partners, and work closely with them to build stronger pipelines and close priority roles faster.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
- Experience hiring for non-technical roles such as business development, sales, operations etc.
- Solid sourcing skills across LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, and other recruitment channels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assess candidates and identify ownership, hunger, and startup fit.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a target-driven mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and close roles within aggressive timelines.
