Careerfit is a tech-enabled recruitment agency in Mumbai that pairs AI-driven candidate mapping with recruiter-led screening to close roles for founders and HR leaders. Delivery spans BFSI, fintech, real estate, logistics, pharma, sales, tech and support roles.

About the Role

This is an agency delivery seat, not internal HR. You own live client mandates end to end — taking the brief, hunting on portals, screening, driving the candidate through interviews, and getting them to join. Success is measured in closures, not activity, and the domain of the role you're hiring for changes constantly, so the person who fits is someone comfortable picking up an unfamiliar requirement and sourcing against it within days.

What You Will Do

1. Own client mandates end to end, from intake brief to candidate joining
2. Source actively on Naukri, LinkedIn, Apna and similar portals, plus social channels and referrals
3. Screen resumes and applications and build shortlists worth a hiring manager's time
4.



Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and client hiring managers
5. Scope hiring requirements with client teams and internal delivery leads
6. Draft job descriptions and post openings across platforms
7. Follow up with candidates at every stage through to offer acceptance and joining
8. Maintain candidate databases and recruitment trackers so pipeline status is always current

Deliverables

1. 3 months: 3 closures per month
2. 1 year: 5 closures per month

What We're Looking For

1. Must have hands-on sourcing experience across multiple platforms — Naukri, LinkedIn, Apna and similar — with searches they ran themselves
2. Must come from a recruitment or staffing firm, not an in-house corporate HR team
3. Must be dedicated to TA/recruitment as their core function, not an HR generalist who also recruits
4. Must have closed positions independently, not only sourced for someone else to close
5. Must be able to work an unfamiliar domain — no sector specialisation required or expected
6. MBA in HR or Sales is preferred, not mandatory; a Sales MBA works if the recruitment experience is real
