- Planning daily production though optimal leading of all the oxygen plants.
- Monitoring performance of existing plants and trouble shotting if required.
- Ensure that all changes are made through MOC system, HAZOP / PSSR / HIRA is conducted for them, and all identified hazards & unsafe behaviors are addressed.
- The improvement initiatives under the guidance of PBU Head and ensure all statutory requirements in the Area are met with focus on air and water pollution control, for hazardous wastes.
- Implement SOP’s & plans, for compliance with statutory, regulatory & environmental norms and HIL standards for Occupational Health, safety & workplace.
- Identify health hazards that arise out of occupational, design & human risk factors and implement programs to comply with statutory requirements & hazard mitigation.
- Drive KAIZAN, BBSO and ENABLOWN for greater sustainability of operations.
- Maintain workplace in order with respect to all Sub-areas (Level of 5-S).

Comply with safety standards & procedures (work permit system, storage and handling of hazardous material, etc.) for accident prevention in the Area.

Daily Work Management

- Drive flawless daily work by undertaking following:
- Implementation of DMTs excellence standards across the Area.
- Achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual P&B; targets of the assigned Area in terms of quantity & quality
- Evaluation of Daily Performance Indicators (DPIs) of the team.
- Set & communicate clearly defined KPIV &




- KPOV (Key Performance Input / Output Variables) to DMTs with all the related costs.
- Undertake 'Abnormality Identification' in DMTs through Root Cause Analysis and address unfavorable deviations through countermeasures like kaizen, updated sop’s etc.
- Undertake daily & periodic 'Job Planning' through ERP system (Maximo / Ekayan) for efficient daily workflow.
- Define Model areas / machines devoid of unwanted items and make abnormality Identification (8 types) & redressal as a continuous process in all DMTs (5S &
- Kaizen).

Manage daily Operations, Production and take actions related jobs.

Continuous Improvement

- Ensure continuous improvements using problem solving tools (RCA, Kaizen, etc.)
- Improve productivity & cost efficiency of the Area.
- Create value through waste elimination, optimum resource utilization, productivity enhancement, etc.

Minimize set up time for every change of product and revive the process to normal operation conditions. Asset Care &

Undertake Root Cause analyzes of breakdowns, to minimize process disturbance and production delays.

Process Care &

- Quality





- Monitor & control process parameters to ensure smooth operations and undertake immediate corrective action in case of any deviation.
- Keep Cost of production within budget by following measures:
- Minimize rejection, deviation & rework by ensuring delivery of products GOX/GAN as per quality & customer requirement.
- Monitor and explore opportunities to bring down variable cost.
- Ensure No leakages of Steam, instrument air and product liquid & gasses (LOX,LIN, GOX &
- GAN) so that the product gasses reaches customer end with quality.
- Ensure implementation of finest process care practices across the PBU and monitor its effectiveness in coordination with Process care, to achieve higher efficiency and quality.
- Achieve the targeted production as per quality specifications benchmarked with international standards and changing customer needs.
- Ensure adherence to laid down processes & practices pertaining to manufacturing without any deviations, to attain consistent product quality.
- Ensure execution of Process Development initiatives as per changing business & customer needs.
- Execute 'Major Initiative Projects' for maximizing the production.

Drive the culture of structured problem solving by ensuring implementation of FI as discussed with PBU head.

Customer Centricity

Meet and exceed internal & external customer expectations, adhere with service level agreements (SLAs), and implement action plans based on customer feedback & surveys.

Capability Building &

- People Engagement

Develop Skillset of DMT members and maintain optimum Skill inventory.
